Isn't this the truth. When you're doing something you love and are passionate about - you can't help but be impacted by the people you serve. You learn from them as much or more than they learn from you. In the most rewarding of relationships there is positive flow and mutual exchange of ideas, information and learning. Life and business is about people and RELATIONSHIPS!
Grow Your Life and Business by Building Relationships and Sharing Resources
How does the saying go? If I had a dollar for every person who has said to me..."I'm just not good at promoting myself, marketing, putting myself out there." This is a key aspect to growth and without it the future is dim.
What does self promotion mean to you? Some would tend to believe that it means telling others what you can do for them. In other words, selling yourself.
The truth of the matter is that a successful business and life is about building relationships and surrounding yourself with people that can help you make it happen - your advocates and support team.
You ask, “How do I grow this valuable network?” It’s simple, by sharing what and who you know with others – by sharing your resources. The more people you willingly promote – the more contacts, ideas and energy will come your way. Growing your business involves building genuine, sincere relationships for the purpose of giving others a boost or beneficial information.
When I began my coaching and speaking business, I naturally shared my resources. This element has been without a doubt one of the most important aspects to my growth in this profession. As I look back and listen to what people say, this giving is one of the reasons others are attracted to what I offer. They in turn are eager to provide me with their network as well.
So, don't protect your knowledge, contacts and resources. Instead, I encourage you to share them abundantly with others and trust many wonderful prospects for growing your life and business will come to you many fold.
“Ah-Ha” Moments
Never have I experienced so many "Ah-Ha" moments as I have over the past few months. You wonder why? In one simple word, pregnancy. Yes, I'm having a baby! What a miracle and quite an amazing experience. To answer the questions that follow...I'm feeling really good. The due date is June 8th. We're finding out if it's a boy or girl the old fashioned way. Wish me health and peace of mind as I move through the 3rd trimester!

1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve
great risk.
2. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three R’s:
Respect for self,
Respect for others and
Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a
wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great relationship.
7. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps
to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think
back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current
situation. Don’t bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. It’s a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love
for each other exceeds your need for each other.
18. Judge success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
